Grief and Clown

Grief and Clown - did you know the 'Haha' and the 'Whawha' come from the same place? They do! In this 3 day intensive, Grief & Clown, on September 11th, 18th, and 25th you will have the chance to honor grief and celebrate big emotions. During these 3 Fridays we will use clown, somatic movements, storytelling, drawing and writing to fully experience a wide range of emotions, all within a supportive community. Participants will be invited to move with, into, and through, their particular big feelings and grief. We will uncover some 'whawhas' and rejoice in some 'hahahs' through this embodied, mindful and thoughtful practice. Each week includes exercises to be present with and share in grief, laughter and big emotions, to witness and be witnessed. You will be gathering with the same group of people over the 3 days, this is a great opportunity to bond, release, relax and play in a supportive environment. It is up to you to decide what you share with your new funny, gentle, raucous, big feeling friends. All exercises can be tailored to any needs you may have, just send us a note. \*\*grief can be a specific loss (recent or distant), generalized grief or simply big feelings. All are welcome.
