The quartet is fully committed to grooving, swinging, and putting out positive energy on the bandstand and into the crowd.** **Izaak Weatherwax** is a Los Angeles–based drummer and bandleader who spends most of his time playing around the city with his trio and quintet. His playing leans heavily into the post-bop, hard-bop, and bebop traditions, with a focus on swing, interaction, and keeping the music feeling alive in the moment.
