Fresh off the success of last year’s California Love: A Symphonic Tribute to Dr. Dre, producer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist Sly5thAve returns with a 12-piece ensemble to perform classical arrangements of Roy Ayers’ catalogue. A pioneering jazz-funk vibraphonist and producer, Ayers continues to be one of the most heavily sampled artists of all time, by artists like Kendrick Lamar and A Tribe Called Quest. In tribute , the performance will also feature reimaginings of contemporary works containing Roy Ayers samples. Presented by Mochilla & Colelab.
